Jesse Brown is a Louisiana-born craftsman, musician, and cultural ambassador deeply rooted in Cajun tradition. A graduate of LSU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jesse brings over 30 years of industrial training and more than two decades of hands-on building experience to his work.

He apprenticed with accordion maker Larry Miller and gained knowledge passed down by other respected builders like Marc Savoy. Jesse has since built many accordions of his own—several of which he has donated to CFMA for fundraising. His instruments have been shipped internationally, including to Germany and Canada. These professional-grade accordions are used on stage and in the recording studio. 

Raised in the Cajun heartland of Eunice and Patasa on a rice and crawfish farm, Jesse grew up immersed in the French language and culture. His parents and grandparents were French speakers, and today his entire family—wife and children—continue that tradition. A founding member of the Faquetigue Mardi Gras, Jesse is deeply involved in Mardi Gras culture and remains active in CFMA, earning CFMA awards for his contributions.

Musically, Jesse has played accordion in a professional band for over 25 years, taught private accordion lessons, and is a songwriter and recording artist with three albums and a single to his credit. He is also an accomplished Cajun dancer, teaching alongside his wife Anglyn. After starting his business out of a small storage room, Jesse expanded operations to a dedicated workshop in Brusly, LA, and is now opening a new, larger shop in Carencro. A grand opening is planned for 2027—continuing a lifelong commitment to Cajun music, craft, and culture.
